DIY Bathroom Shelving

Obsessed with these DIY Built ins from my most recent design project!!

Here is how we did them! First, we demo’d the wall and re-drywalled to create the space. The meausrements of the space are pictured below:

Then, I gathered the materials:

  • 2x12 piece of lumber (ours was pine)

  • Dark walnut stain

  • Mounting tools

Now the fun part! I purchased a 2 x 12 from an upscale lumber yard (Ganahl Lumber) it was a bit pricey but we only needed one piece! It was also finished so no sanding was required!

Next, We stained it a Dark Walnut stain.

Last, we used mounting tools (linked above) to mount to the wall. And done!!! Super easy with a HUGE effect!

I MEAN, the selfie possibilities are endless!
